Because new technology constantly changes this industry, there is a growing demand for certified Aviation Electronics Technicians.

As an AET, you are responsible for the manufacturing, operation, and maintenance of the electrical systems on the aircraft. This includes the communication, radar, and avionics systems. The FAA has recently opened the door for commercial unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and as a result demand is building for qualified AETs able to build, program, and fly UAVs in applications ranging from the military to Hollywood.
